Settlement Upgrades

Settlements can be upgraded to a higher rank by performing special Settlement Quests. The more players complete those quests, the more points their settlement will have till the next rank. It is basically an XP for a settlement. Most of those quests are group PvE activities that will require a party of players to complete. The higher the next rank is, the more XP it will need to get upgraded to the next level.

Accomplishing these Settlement Quests will grant settlement-wide upgrades and bonuses: from settlement skins, blacksmith item upgrade discounts and APY boosters to new unique NPCs appearing in town to provide rare items or quests.

Most importantly, the higher the settlement rank is the more chances it has to become a Capital and the higher is the land value!
